After the July 4th tragedy, the mood is quite somber here in Texas. I’m not sure how it is in the rest of the country. As for me, I have been rendered me speechless. I flipped through my bible, looking for something, anything – my eyes fell across a verse I highlighted a year ago.

In the margin, I wrote, “Why, God? Why?”

Today, I have the same question.

Why, God?

So, I weep with those who weep and pray that the Lord would comfort the grieving and heal the traumatized. 🙏🏿
