Hi friends!
Happy Valentine’s Day!! It’s been a while, and I’ve missed you! How has 2025 been so far? Mine started quite challenging, but I chose to dig deep and find God in the difficulty, which was the best thing I could have done.
As 2024 wound down, I heard a whisper from the Lord to come to a place of rest. Honestly, this frustrated me because I had some major projects looming, one of which was marketing Memorial Stones. But He knew what I needed better than I did. I reluctantly agreed, and He led me to a deeper healing place in the truth-telling area.
In the last few years, an area I’ve been growing in with God is telling Him exactly how I’m feeling. That’s been a challenge for me because, from childhood, I learned to “suck it up and keep moving”. “Sucking it up” for me meant saying everything was good even when it wasn’t. I got so good at doing this that I successfully deceived myself into believing things did not bother me when they did. Well, this was my chance to practice telling the truth about how I felt about His invitation; it sounded lovely, but I had no idea how I would rest. I told Him I needed help in figuring it out. And guess what, friends? He sent me help to figure it out! (cue: Memorial Stone).
One thing that came about during rest was doing more writing and giving you some tools to record your memorial stones. Moving forward, I will write with the occasional video post. I’ve also created and attached a memorial stones tracker to help you track daily, weekly, and monthly memorial stones. Friends, let’s write our stories with God!
